| Goths Invade Pubs Sun Dec 13 & Sunday Mystery Theatre |
[Dec. 10th, 2009|12:52 pm] |
With the year closing fast, I thought I'd suggest a nice casual pub get together this sunday Dec 13th at the FOREST LODGE HOTEL (Arundel St Glebe, behind Glebe OfficeWorks) from about 3pm...
Also, BBC TV's production of '1984' (with Peter Cushing of Hammer Horror fame) will be screened at 7pm in the bistro/back room for Sunday Mystery Theatre...Free of charge...!
The bistro is open on sundays now, with a $10 meal deal until 8.30pm...
So anyone who is keen, cya there from 3pm! |

SMT in October
OCT 11 SCARED TO DEATH (1947) Scared to Death is a 1947 horror film directed by Christy Cabanne and starring Béla Lugosi. It was filmed in Cinecolor, and is one of only three color pictures Lugosi made, and the only one that was released that he starred in. The film is notable for its narration by a dead woman — she describes the events leading up to her death.
Start Halloween early! Be there!
OCT 25 NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD (1968) Needing no introduction, Romero's original classic to ring-in Halloween!
Special animated shorts especially for Halloween! Casper *and* Popeye!
